Lauren has been a bodyworker for 20 years; a big chunk of her training and experience has been working with structure through orthopedic/sports massage, myofascial release and precision neuromuscular therapy; another large part has been with biodynamic craniosacral therapy (BCST).
Lauren gets excited about working with what is arising in the moment by slowing down, being present, tuning into what's here, welcoming it and giving it space to express (physically, emotionally, verbally, energetically), thus allowing a natural unfolding within the session and welcoming changes of direction that may come up in the middle of sessions.

Lauren's quality of touch is a mix of seeming opposites: specific and spacious, firm and gentle, with an underlying connection to stillness.
She likes to flow between BCST and deeper massage within a session. She also loves offering BCST as a way to invite deep rest, to be with emotions and traumas held in the body (facilitating sensation-based expression of them), and to bring the nervous system into a more relaxed, baseline operating state.
Lauren invites people who want to transform or want support in a current transformational process where they are really curious about exploring their edges, their emotions, and how their bodies and the way they show up in the world are affected by their thoughts, emotions, perceptions and fears.
She wants to work with people who are willing to slow down and deeply notice and feel what it is like to be in this world and be seen or not be seen.
“When we slow down, when there is a very palpable feeling of interconnectedness and presence, I feel this is a very potent and transformational space, and is the space I wish to create with you.”

Originally from Colorado Springs, Lauren lived in the Boulder area off and on (mostly on) from 2005-2021. During that time she also obtained massage licenses and lived briefly in Jacksonville, Fl and Fairfield, IA. Near the end of 2021 she moved to Brookings, Oregon and obtained an Oregon massage license. Now, in 2026, she is back in Boulder!
Lauren enjoys dancing (contact improv especially), meditating, slack-lining, tree-climbing, walking barefoot, and other activities that allow her to explore the human body and its potentials.
In addition to massage and craniosacral therapy, Lauren has practiced and studied Transcendental Meditation, the Field of Awakening group practice, and Radical Aliveness group process. She loves being in group spaces that allow the group field and wisdom to guide and inform.
Lauren also offers space, one on one, to “Be” in the mystery and magic of the present moment, relationally. What’s it like to be here now, with another? What feelings, sensations and emotions are present? What is arising from the depths to be expressed, seen, heard and felt?
This is about being with and listening to our inherent wisdom and putting a spot light on the relational field. This session is listed under Inherent Wisdom/Relational Field Exploratory Dive.
